Blue Tartan Dog Pyjamas

I have two very large male Dobermanns - Busta and Ziggy. It’s often difficult to find coats and jumpers that fit Dobermanns because they are so deep chested. A lot of brands also don’t make sizes that fit large or giant dog breeds.

Dobermanns don’t have an undercoat so they really feel the cold.

We live 65 km NW of Brisbane! During winter they will shiver, tremble and chatter their teeth when the temperature is 13°C or below - which is the threshold temperature for when they need to wear pyjamas overnight.

I know - bizarre for a breed that originated in Germany where it’s literally freezing in the winter!

Hamish McBeth are my favourite pyjamas for Busta and Ziggy. I buy Size 70cm which gives good coverage along the full length of their backs, plenty of room around their front legs and big deep chests.

Busta and Ziggy love their pyjamas - in winter when the sun sets and the temperature drops they will come and remind me to put them on. They lift their front legs and put them through the leg holes without prompting or assistance and then duck their heads through the neck of the pyjamas.

Ziggy likes to take his blanket outside and do his morning yoga in his Hamish McBeth pyjamas.

Hamish McBeth pyjamas are good quality, wash well - they don’t shrink - and they maintain their shape for their entire life.

I have bought so many other brands that stretch (and keep stretching) with every wear. They end up looking like sloppy rags and they look uncomfortable because they bunch up and are lumpy for the boys to lie down in.

I prefer the tartan and check fabrics for my fur boys and they look really beautiful.

I have been buying Hamish McBeth pyjamas for years and I am very happy with them.

Busta and Ziggy love wearing them and that’s the only endorsement I need to keep buying them.

This is our fourth time purchasing a Hamish McBeth jacket for our Hungarian Vizsla - she is so warm and cosy and doesn’t wake us up all night to be tucked in with her blanket. They wash and dry perfectly and look very smart!

I ordered the biggest size in the Blue Tartan PJs for our Cane Corso and they fit her perfectly. She is sleeping much better at night now that she is nice and warm. Great quality and arrived quickly. Will be purchasing again for our Greyhound. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent fit sits nicely under chest for male dogs doesn’t roll up my dog loves it
